I woke up this morning to overcast skies and threatening rain. I packed up early and was on the road by 8AM. I went through Pensacola and into Alabama. It didn't take long for the oak canopied streets of downtown Mobile to give way to the red clay hills of Mississippi. I crossed over into Lousiana and am currently about 150 miles from my final destination of Lake Chicot state park on the Arkansas and Mississippi state line. Will write more when i arrive.
